A couple of weeks ago I had one of those amazing “AHA” moments you get after working on a scene for a while and something FINALLY clicks.
The recipe for this “AHA” moment consisted of two simple ingredients.
1 Cup of Perspective.
1 cup of Listening
We changed the way we looked at the scene (perspective). We through caution to the wind and allowed ourselves to explore! Throwing caution to the wind caused us to (listen) with fresh ears and perspective.
Being present, fully committed to the moment and NOT married to the choices we had already established, allowed us to hear something we hadn’t heard before and respond truthfully.
Love those “AHA” moments!
